What happens after we spray

Bio-treatment isn't a magic same-day scrub — and that's the point. It works progressively, so there's no scrubbing, no cracked tiles and no Colorbond paint damage. Here's the honest timeline.

  1. 6–8 weeks

    Algae & black mould die back naturally and start washing off with the rain.

  2. 6–10 months

    Lichen is slower growing, so it takes longer — but it clears fully. Results improve weekly.

  3. 12 months +

    Any lichen still hanging on? We come back and respray the whole roof, free.

Downpipes disconnected first

Before a drop of product goes on, we disconnect every downpipe feeding your tank. Your supply is completely isolated for the whole job.

Rain does the flushing

Downpipes stay disconnected until at least 50mm of rain has fallen, clearing any residual product off the roof and out of the gutters.

Reconnected properly

Once that flush has happened we reconnect every downpipe securely. Your tank fills as normal and the water's safe to use.

On tank water? Just mention it when you book — the disconnect, flush and reconnect is included at no extra cost.
